I really enjoyed my visit to Osprey Quay this afternoon with the Year 5 children. It was lovely to see the enjoyment and excitement on their faces as they worked through the tasks.

It was great to meet you last week and I can honestly say that IPACA seems to have brought education into the 21st century. I visit quite a few schools and was genuinely impressed with what I saw.

IPACA gave us the chance to see how much of an impact having 1 to 1 Chromebooks had made on lessons. It also demonstrated to us how students valued the Chromebooks and how empowering it was both in lessons and at home. Very importantly Chromebooks were not being used for the sake of using them. Some lessons were using them some weren't. Some students were actively making choices to support their traditional learning with technology. But it was the learning that was the focus. Google Forms, Shared Presentations, Photographing Technology projects and online research were amongst the many aspects of targeted learning we observed.
Keep up the good work!

A fantastic opportunity to see really innovative teaching and learning taking place and the importance that interior environments play on that. It's rare to see somewhere more willing to question the status quo, and seek to deliver an experience to students that make them robust lifelong learners, and look forward to being able to visit again when that can seen too all year groups.

We were hosted by Gary Spracklen who could not have done more to be welcoming, informative and encouraging. He presented the history, goals and current IT practices of IPACA very clearly and being able to talk to the rest of the digital team helped our understanding. We toured Osprey Quay and then Royal Manor. Staff and pupils all cope very well with visitors and were helpful and forthcoming. In all, an excellent insight and an uplifting visit. You are doing great things which are having an impact on the aspirations and futures of your pupils. Thanks to Brad of European Electronique for facilitating it all. (Glad I had put decent socks on though for the KS2 shoeless environment; I'd bring SOCO plastic shoe covers next time though!) Many thanks. Graeme
